FIFA says it has dismissed Tunisia's protest that claimed World Cup playoffs opponent Cameroon fielded two ineligible players.
Tunisia lost the two-leg playoff 4-1 on aggregate and sought a ruling to replace Cameroon in the draw being made next week in Brazil.
FIFA says "no breach of its regulations has been committed by the Cameroon Football Federation."
Tunisia objected to Cameroon selecting Mainz forward Eric Choupo Moting and Schalke midfielder Joel Matip over the two matches.
Both Germany-born players already appeared for Cameroon at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
Tunisia reached the playoffs only because group-stage rival Cape Verde Islands had an ineligible player.
FIFA says Cameroon's protest this week against Tunisia fielding Fabian Camus and Houcine Nater was filed too late to be considered.
